June Brown, 73, passed away on June 7, 2026, one day after her birthday. Born June 6, 1953, she lived a life marked by warmth, creativity, and devotion to the people she loved.
June spent two decades as an educator with Loyola University Medical Center, where she shaped the lives of countless students and colleagues. An avid reader and a creative soul, she had a special gift for making others feel seen — most memorably through the personalized cards she lovingly crafted for family and friends, each one a small work of art.
Above all, June was a loving mother. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim, who passed away last year. She is survived by her daughter, Erin; her son, George, and his wife, Liz; and her three cherished grandchildren, William (11), Anne (9), and Alexandra (5), who brought her great joy.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from noon to 2:00 p.m., with a brief service at 1:30 p.m., at Countryside Funeral Home, 95 S. Gilbert Street, South Elgin, IL 60177 (847-289-8054).
