Julia Shoemaker(nee Banks), 79, of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, June 22. An avid NASCAR fan, Julia was a dedicated family woman who retired from Sears after 15 years. Beloved wife of the late Wayne; loving mother of Debra(James) Cuthbertson, Larry(Claudia Baltodano), and Bradley(Teri); proud grandmother of Cheryl, Jason, Amy, Kelly, Kyle, and Chelsey; dear great grandmother of Jack, Henry, and Jorie; fond sister of Jerry(Doris) Banks, and the late Janice Smith. Visitation Monday, June 25 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday 11:00am. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
