Julia Dean Nelson, passed away January 22, 2016. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 18, 1925, before moving to Chicago, Il. Julia retired in 1980 from Montgomery Wards as a bookkeeper after 23 years. After retirement, she moved to Florida. Julia will be dearly missed by her daughters, C. Joann (Frank) Knapp and Judy L. Underwood; brother, William (Marge)Ferro; as well as five grandchildren, Tammy (Dennis W.) Schillinger Traurig, Andy Byers, Neal Byers, Staci Schillinger and Rob (Dawn) Underwood; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 10:00am until time of service 12:00 noon, at Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett, Il. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Il.
