Judith Shelton

Visitation for Judith Lynn Shelton nee Westphal of South Elgin since 1964 will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 4:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Rd. (at State St.) South Elgin. Funeral Friday 11:00a.m. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.

Judy was the Auxiliary Chaplain of VFW Post 2723 in South Elgin. She enjoyed traveling with her husband during their retirement, with their last trip being to Hawaii.

She is the beloved wife of 56 years of Allan; loving mother of Dale (Barbara) Shelton and Debra (Mark) Mainard; cherished grandmother of Bryan, Shannon, Christopher, Nathan, James, Justin and Gabrielle; proud great grandmother of Landon and soon-to-be born Jackson; dear sister of Barbara Jean (Richard) Howenstein and Robert Westphal.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margorie and Charles Westphal and her sister Pamela Ashley.
