Juan G. Arias Jr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Juan G. Arias Jr., a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Juan passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31st, 2026.

He is survived by his beloved children and their spouses: Dan (Laura) Arias, Bob Arias, Mario Arias, Rick (Elizabeth) Arias, and Gloria (Robert Peters III) Arias Peters. Juan was a proud and devoted grandfather to Matthew (Alessandra) Arias, Robert (Karen) Peters IV, Alicia (Christian) Bach, Michael Arias, Martin (Mary) Peters, Joy (Chip Brown) Arias Brown, Alexander Arias, Adam Arias, and Rachel Arias. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren: Oliver John Bach, Ruby Angeline Bach, and Gabriel James Mathew Arias.

Juan is also survived by his loving sisters, Eva Martinez, Mary Cantu, and Vicky Alvarez, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Angela, and his brothers Benito Arias, Adolfo Arias, and Jesus Arias, affectionately known as Chewy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 4:00 -8:00 pm with Military Honors at 5:00 pm at the Hawthorn Hills Nature Center, 28 Brookside Dr. Elgin, IL 60123.
