Joyce Prosek

Joyce Ann Prosek, 85, of Elk Grove Village, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Born May 25, 1937 in Chicago. Joyce was not only fondly remembered as an excellent cook from Filipino to French Cuisine but unforgettable for her love of baking especially her gingerbread men at Christmas. Her biggest passion was always her faith and her family. Preceded in death by her late husband Dr. Agapito de Ramos and later beloved wife of the late Edward Prosek Jr; loving mother of David (Diane) de Ramos, Lori de Ramos, Debbie Ragusa, Daniel (Tiffany) de Ramos and Dennis (Gabriela) de Ramos; cherished grandma of Michelle (Michael), Ashley (Mitchell), Jessica, Allison, Zachary, Nicholas, Brandon, Joseph, Daniel and Mia; dear great grandma of Ava, Elijah and Jase; dear daughter of the late Aubrey and Mary Schilling and caring sister Kathleen (Herbert) Greyson with their children Colleen King and Krista Cox and the late Robert Schilling.

Please join us on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL; At Stearns Rd.) for the Memorial Visitation from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. On Saturday, September 24, 2022, prayers will take place at the funeral home at 10:30am, proceeding to St. Peter Damian Church for mass at 11:00am. The inurnment will take place at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
