Joyce is the beloved wife of the late Herbert; loving mother of Michael (Ann) Nelson, Teresa (Raymond) Nemecek, Russ (Anne) Nelson and Sharon (Bill) Gottschalk; cherished grandmother of Abigail (Matt) Jaeger, Christine (Oliver) Jonelis, Don (Nickole) Nemecek, Raymond (Kelly) Nemecek, III, Rachel (Neil) Miller, Jessica (William) Giese, Alexander Nelson, Bonnie (David) Banuelos, Nelson Gottschalk and the late Sarah; proud great grandmother of Ethan, Paige, Liam, Logan, Bryce, Brooke, Brittany, Brianna, Augustine, and James; dear sister of the late Bobby Wendel; step sister of Mary Ann Clark.
