Joyce Jensen

Joyce A. Jensen, nee Bartholomy, 71 of Elgin, formerly of Chicago and Streamwood, mom of Veronica Scruggs, Christine Kulinski and Cathryn (Kevin) McNamara; grandma of Jeff, Mike, Lisa, Brian and Brandon; great grandma of Juliet. Joyce was an avid gardener even winning awards for the best garden in Elgin. She loved to travel, received her pilot's license then learned to skydive. She spun her own wool and made her own jewelry. Even was on the film crew for the movie Road America with Paul Newman. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday October 16th from 3:00 pm until the time of service 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S.Gilbert (at Middle St.)South Elgin. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory prior to services. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS. 66675 would be appreciated.
