We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Joshua Neil Henry. Joshua passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 4, 2026. Joshua was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and amazing friend to many.
Joshua was born on March 12, 1999 and resided in Elgin, Illinois. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He was proud to work as a Billing Analyst at Pitney Bowes.
Joshua will be remembered by his deep love for his parents, sisters, and dogs. Joshua had a passion for collecting shoes, spending time with his dogs, joking around with his sisters, and discovering new music. Josh's witty and sarcastic sense of humor was unmatched. He had a way of making people laugh when they needed it the most. He was goal-oriented, clever, and incredibly business savvy, always thinking ahead and striving for more. But above all of those qualities, he was an extraordinary person whose impact and memory will stay with us forever.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Marc and Kathleen Henry; his sisters, Lily and Meredith; his grandmothers, Barbara Henry and Sue Cortese; his grandfathers, Neil Henry and Richard Cortese; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, dear friends, and his beloved dogs, Mocha and Willow. Joshua was preceded in death by his Busha, Lola Cortese; his great-grandmother, Carolyn Linz Kaplan; and cousin, Teresa Knabe.
