Josephine Cavaliero

Josephine Ann Cavaliero (nee Capadona) of Schaumburg formerly of Chicago, beloved wife of the late Anthony A.; cherished mother of Connie J. (Richard) Sherman, Rosemary C. Cavaliero and Tony C. Cavaliero; loving grandmother of Karen J. Sherman; dear daughter of the late Peter and the late Sara Capadona (nee Matranga); fond sister of the late Victoria, Jennie, John, Jeanette (Richard) Miura, Dominic (late Ruth), Ann (late Richard) Kawales, Victor, Peter (Rita); proud aunt of many nieces and nephews especially her godson Peter Miura.

Josephine was employed for 20 years at Crain Communications in Chicago as the Personnel/Office Manager. During that time, she organized a holiday bake sale every year to benefit the Neediest Kids Fund. Her pineapple upside-down cakes received the highest accolades and prices from all the goodies that were sold. To honor Josephine, her family asks that in lieu of flowers, you make donations to the Chicago Tribune Neediest Kids Fund, 435 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611.

Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Thursday 9:15 a.m. to St. Hubert Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph.
