Joseph Trattner

Joseph C. Trattner, 92, of Bartlett; devoted husband of 67 years to the late Dolores, nee Repplinger; cherished father of Terry, Sharon (Francis) Collins, Mike (Nancy) and Joe (Debbie); dear grandfather of Kelly (Ivan) Sherman, Carrie Gillogly, Mike (Elise), Maureen, Jake, Nick, Joey (Mandy), Christie, Shaina (Mike) and Erik; loving greatgrandfather of Emerson; caring brother of the late Fran, Ann, Theresa, Mary and Helen; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe loved being outdoors - especially working on his garden/yard, watching his purple martins, fishing at the cottage in Delavan, Wi. He had a strong faith in God - always wanting to do the right thing, whether it be taking care of other family members or being a tremendous role model to his children. A special thank you to Emmy who took such wonderful care of both Dolores and Joseph in the last years of their lives. Visitation Monday 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday 11:15 am to St. Peter Damian. Mass 12:00 pm/noon. Interment St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
