Joseph Sykora

Joseph R. Sykora, 86, of Bloomingdale, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 4, 2024 with his family at his side. Joseph was an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan. He enjoyed riding his bike, camping, and travelling the country. Beloved husband of 64 years to Nancy E. (nee Zahradka); loving father of Mitch (Justine) Sykora and Leslie (James) Collins; proud grandfather of Kelsey (Andrew) Engelbart and John Sykora; dear brother of Charlene (the late Bill) Treece; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, December 10 from 10:00am until time of service 12 noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Inurnment private at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
