Joseph C. Stiglianese, 91, of Elgin, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 27, 2023. Joe was a career tool and die maker who enjoyed golfing, hunting, dancing, and playing bocce ball. Beloved family man and husband of Mary Ann (nee Caruso) and the late Mary Ann (nee Rose); loving father of Mary Carmella, Michael John, and Joseph James Stiglianese and step father of Kathleen (Edward) Tipperreiter, Robert and Thomas Grey, and the late Nancy (Michael) Brunton; proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; dear brother of Michael (Linda) and the late Vito William (the late Blanche) Stiglianese, the late Catherine (the late Edward) Strus, and the late Grace (the late Lawrence) Marciniak; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, August 4 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.), South Elgin. Funeral Saturday 9:45am prayers to St. Patrick Catholic Church on Crane Rd. Mass 10:30am. Entombment St. Michael The Archangel, Palatine.
