Joseph Peter Sienkiewicz, 89, of Bartlett, died Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born July 10, 1936, in Chicago. Joseph had several hobbies throughout life but some of his favorites were fishing, woodworking, gardening, baking, making wine, playing the guitar and photography. He was also an avid Bears fan watching all the games with his wife Dorothy before her passing. He will be missed dearly by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy; loving dad of Bonnie (Charles) Nelms, Gail Sienkiewicz and Joe (Kim) Sienkiewicz; cherished grandpa of Tim Nelms (Amanda), Alexa Nelms (fiancé Jason Murphy), Joey Sienkiewicz, Tony Valentino (Brittany) Jennifer Valentino, Joshua Denney (Jessica) and great grandpa of Dorothy, Maxine, Jackson, Gianna, Ava, Michael, Jason and Elsie; dear son of the late Alex and Elsie Sienkiewicz and kind brother of the late Betty Zygler. Cremation will be done at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett, IL. A Catholic Mass for Joseph will be held at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 am in Bartlett, IL. Burial to immediately follow at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
