Joseph Schiferl of Bartlett; beloved son of Marilyn (nee Hornig) and the late Thomas L.; loving brother of Theresa Schiferl, Lynn (Jim) Boyle, Marge (Anne Hewett) Schiferl, Beth Schiferl, Mark (Robyn), Katrina Schock, Jeffrey (Jenny) and Thomas Schiferl; dear uncle of Amanda, Ashley, Abigail, Lauren, Steven, Brandon, Cody, Grant and Megan; many loving aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
An usher at St. Peter Damian Church, member of Bartlett Lion’s Club (Leo’s), Bartlett Fourth of July Committee. Active in men’s softball (Sixty Sixers), and avid bowler and fisherman.
Visitation Thursday, May 3rd 3:00-9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday, 9:45 a.m. to St. Peter Damian Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Following mass cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the Bartlett Lions Club, P.O. Box 8049, Bartlett, IL 60103 would be appreciated.
