Joseph Perrino

October 22, 1933 — March 3, 2026

Joseph Perrino, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 to be with his wife Josephine Perrino (nee Cavallero). Born on October 22, 1933, in Melrose Park, Illinois, Joseph lived a long life marked by service, dedication, and kindness to those around him. Joseph was the cherished son of Nicolas and Francesca Perrino.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1957. Following his military service, he built a long and dependable career at Amoco, where he worked for many years. He was known for his strong work ethic and quiet dedication.

Outside of his career, Joseph found great fulfillment in giving back to his community. He volunteered his time at the local hospital and remained active in his church, where he enjoyed helping others and building lasting friendships. His generosity and gentle spirit touched many lives. He also enjoyed spending time at the horse racing track, a pastime that brought him great enjoyment over the years.

Joseph is survived by his brother, Anthony (Maryann) Perrino along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kay, and his brother, Frank.

Joseph will be remembered for his humility, kindness, and lifelong commitment to serving others. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation Monday, March 9, 2026 9:00am until time of service 11:00am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
