Joseph Nicchia

Joseph S. Nicchia, 80, of Streamwood, IL passed away on October 14, 2024. Joe was born on April 15, 1944 to his parents Salvatore and Josephine Nicchia in Chicago, IL. He was a 4th degree Knighs of Columbus member. Jo e leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 almost 54 years, Mary; loving father of Jim (Lisa) Nicchia, Bob (Doris) Nicchia and Dave Nicchia; cherished grandpa of Aleashea (Chris), Joseph, Vince, Sarah, Rachel and Johnny and great-grandpa of Brayden and Clara; dear uncle and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Josephine and his brothers Raymond, Salvatore and Peter.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. On Thursday, October 24 at 9:15am prayers at Countryside. Procession afterwards to St. John the Evangelist Church, 502 S Park Blvd, Streamwood, IL for a 10:00am mass.
