Joseph Morgan

May 11, 1993 — November 21, 2021

Joseph Terrence Morgan was born on May 11th 1993. An adorable red headed child with freckles like his mother and an infectious laugh that would last his entire life and would reverberate through other peoples souls. He was raised in his Grandparents home with his father Michael. Josephine and Thomas Morgan, his grandparents, his cousin Tara, his Aunt Lisa, Uncle Joe, and surrogate big brother Trevor shared the responsibility of shaping his childhood. The 'raised by a village' approach assisted the cultivation of his sympathy, compassion, charitability, and generosity. However, it was him and only him that took these qualities into overdrive to a level most would find impossible. His humility and kindness armed him with a self imposed obligatory generosity that would help any soul that crossed his path.

Helping Tara's daughter Jojo, getting her to school and off the bus, babysitting, aiding his dying grandfather and providing comfort to the final stages of his grandmother's hospice, and inspiring children in performance arts at his aunt's company MBM.

It is said that how children feel of you is a reflection of your heart. It is undeniable how big his was. From Gia to Josey to JoJo and the countless children he mentored is only a testament to the magnitude of his compassion. It was these qualities that fueled his undeniable talent in Acting. Self evident from his first school play portraying the Cowardly Lion, to his first feature film 'Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse' and throughout his career with 'Camp Manna', 'Compadres' and 'Flower', etc. His directors loved him for his talent and his heart. Yet, this was not unlike him. Every period of his life he made lifelong friends.

From grade school with Danny and Ryan, middle school with Rudy, highschool with Kravits and his vice principal DMO, into adulthood with the ones he worked with including Grinde, Ben, Machiela, Max, Maylo, Lou, Scoops, and what he considered to be his "best bud"...'Po'. If we were to name all that are affected by this loss the server in which this obit is posted would break.

He loved his family and his allegiance to them knew no bounds. He loved his father and cared for him in any way he could. Their relationship was strong because for most of his life they were all each other had. He loved cameras, he loved art, he loved being on set, he loved laughing, and most of all he loved people. He was the Mayor of every town he set foot in, the bearer of laughter to every conversation, the giver of memories, the conduit of fun, and the lover of all. His smile will be ingrained in our memories and his laughter will echo within the absence he leaves within our hearts.

On Sunday November 21st at 4:50 am the world became a little less kind, a little less sweet, a little less gentle, a little less bright, a little less funny, and a little less fun.
