Joseph "Joe" Marino, 73, of Streamwood, died Saturday, May 19, 2012. Born February 19, 1939 in Chicago. He was the son of Rocco and Jane. Joe was proud of being a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed helping in the preparation of Streamwood's Memorial Day remembrance services.
Survivors include children Darren (Arin), Kim (Jason) Seeley, and Jeff (Karen); grandchildren Dan, Austin and Madalyn; and sister Mary Ellen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 1:00p.m. until time of service 5:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Following services cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory. Private inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to veteran's charity of choice would be appreciated.
