Joseph Jacobs

Joseph B. Jacobs, 80, of Schaumburg, passed away Wednesday, March 18. Joe served others, his church and his country and was compassionate to so many people and had such a big heart. He lived a faithful life serving and exemplifying Christ’s attributes through his daily life. His sense of humor will also live on in the many lives he was around. He was the Rock and he modeled how to be brave and strong. His passing is such a loss but his life and love given here was so Big. He is woven into all of the lives he’s was in. Beloved husband of the late May; loving father of Stephanie(John) Neri and Diane(Philip) Dyer; proud grandfather of Anna and Julia Neri and Steven and Nina Dyer; cherished brother of JoAnn Jacob, Paul(Karen) Jacob, and the late Leah(Dan) Gilyan; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; devoted friend of many. Graveside services private at Elmwood Cemetery. Joe gave the gift of love and faith. I’m sure Jesus is saying good job Joe, you worked hard and served me well. Now come and rest.
