Joseph was a carefree and loving man with a personality filled with so much charisma that it helped him make friends instantly with every person that he met. He had a mind filled with so much knowledge and was always more than willing to teach or share about his past experiences. He was respected by many as a great coworker, mentor, role model, and especially a great friend. He took the utmost pride in being a Navy Veteran and equally as much pride in being a wonderful husband, father, sibling, and grandfather. He had a passion for airplanes, which he expressed through his 22 years service in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic with a specialty in flight engineering, and also through his 23 years devoted to Continental Airlines as an aircraft mechanic, retiring as an aircraft maintenance supervisor in 2017. Joseph was a wonderful man, who always put the needs of his family and friends before his own and his presence will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held for Joseph on September 28, 2018 at the Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent, WA from 11am-3pm.
