Joseph "Joe" Alvin Conner, 83, of Roselle died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at his home. Born March 20, 1926 in Dunbar, West Virginia. He was the son of Joseph Henry and Esther (nee Hubbard). Joseph was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army.
Survivors include his children Redgie (Nikki)York and Richard Conner, Linda (Ronnie) Wofford, Patty Sebright and Sue (Ed) Sebright; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean (nee Moss) in 2000, children Nancy, Bonnie and Jerry, his parents and sister Estelle Moles.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 – 9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Road), Roselle. Funeral Monday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Michael. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 580 Waters Edge Dr, Lombard, IL 60148.
