Joseph "Joe" Edward Campbell, 65, of Schaumburg died January 30, 2015. Joe was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Hoxie) for 45 years; loving father of Catherine, Christine (Steven) Bachara, Joseph, Courtney (Timothy) Lohse and Melissa (Eric) Neil; proud grandfather of Ashley, Zachary, Gracie, Hannah, Haley and Ava; cherished son of the late Robert and Mildred; loving brother of James, the late Robert and the late William.
An Army veteran during the Vietnam Era, Joe was also a meat cutter for over 40 years until a year ago when he retired after Dominick's closing. He was an avid Chicago sports fan, enjoyed playing softball for many years, and loved riding his motorcycle. Even more so he was passionately devoted to his family and known for his positive outlook on life. There is no doubt he is in the arms of his Savior whom he worshipped daily.
Visitation for Joe Tuesday, February 3, 3:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Visitation Wednesday 9:30a.m. until the time of Mass 10:30a.m. at St. Matthew Church 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
