John Valent

John Valent, age 80 of Delavan, WI, died peacefully on August 5th, 2013. Loving Husband of Carolyn Jo for 29 years, cherished Father to Laura (Henry) Akhteebo, Caron (Patrick) Shogren, Michael (Kathleen) Valent and Christi (John) Streicher; proud Grandfather of Christina Akhteebo, Jennifer (Brian) Engelhardt, Heather (Justin) Guerreo, Kimberly (Robert) Voelker, Christopher, Nicholas and Allison Valent , Lisa Styczen, Alyssa and Johnny Streicher; great Grandfather of Delaney Engelhardt and Aiden Voelker. He is also survived by a loving Sister Helen Valent, Niece Denice (Wael) Valent – Musleh and daughters; Nephew James Valent; Sister- In- Law Marilyn Warnimont, Nephew Jeffrey (Gloria) Warnimont and family, Niece Donna Warnimont. He believed that family was extremely important and his loss will leave great sadness among all those who loved him dearly. May you rest in peace Dear Husband, Father and Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend. Until we meet again we will honor your legacy and treasure your memory. We love you.

Visitation Thursday, August 8th 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. to St. Walter Church Mass 10:00. Burial St. Michael the Archangel. In lieu of flowers, mass remembrances or education memorials to St. Andrew School, 115 S. 7th St., Delavan, WI, 53115 would be appreciated.
