John Szlezak

John Szlezak, 88, of Bartlett, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his home. Born June 9, 1926 in Poland. John was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a tailor by trade. He enjoyed singing and dancing and spent time gardening and working around his house. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of Sophie; Loving dad of Thaddeus (Helen) and Barbara (Stephen); cherished Dziadzia of Keith, Lucas, Jackie (Joe), Eric and Bradley and great Dziadzia of Janelle, Josh and Jerrin; dear son of the late Anthony and Maria and fond brother to 8 late brothers and sisters. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Thursday 9:15a.m. to St. Peter Damian Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
