John Raymond Stewart, 80, of Streamwood for many years, died Sunday, June 15, 2025. Born June 13, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio. John loved bowling, watching baseball, especially his son and the Cubs and was an avid Ohio State fan. However, his biggest passion was always his family. Beloved husband of 55 years to Sandy (nee Olhava); loving dad of Paige (Brody) Rude and John (Angela) Stewart; cherished grandpa of William and Carter Rude and Anna and Nina Stewart; dear son of the late John G. and Doris (nee Smith) Stewart; kind brother of Joann, Jackie, the late Nancy and uncle to many. Visitation 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Prayers Monday 9:15am at the funeral home going to St. John the Evangelist Church, Mass 10:00am. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
