John Sandstedt

John “J.W.” Sandstedt of Roselle, 65, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010. J.W. was a proud veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was the Production Foreman for Form Plastics in Saint Charles since 1978 and was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and blackjack player. J.W. is survived by his sister, Lin Scarton (Chris), son Shawn Sandstedt, daughters Heather Wheeler (Bill), Erin Nealis (Kevin), Regan Jasinski (Andrew), and grandchildren Devin Wheeler, Makayla Wheeler, Jacob Wheeler, and Logan Nealis. A celebration of J.W.’s life will be held Friday from 3p.m. until time of service 7p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd) , Roselle. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests potted plants or donations can be made to Rainbow Hospice Ark Inpatient Unit, 444 N.
