John R. Hojnacki, a cherished resident of Bartlett, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on Wednesday, August 20th, 1947, John led a life full of love, service, and dedication.
John is survived by his beloved wife Judy Hojnacki of 54 years, a testament to a lifelong partnership filled with enduring love and companionship. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Wickey and Christy (Jeffrey) Tatara, and a proud grandfather to Allison Cunniffe, Jack Cunniffe, and Logan Tatara. John also leaves behind his brother, Michael A. (Marziana) Hojnacki.
John was preceded in death by his father, John F. Hojnacki, his mother, Helen Hojnacki, and his sister, Patricia Hojnacki. Though they have passed, they remain forever in the hearts of those who loved them.
He served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army, a commitment that instilled in him values of service and resilience.
John deeply loved his family and took great joy in their accomplishments, gatherings, and shared memories. Despite his love for family time, he also cherished his moments of solitude, finding peace and fulfillment in quiet reflection.
Services and Cremation are private. John R. Hojnacki will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire those he loved. May he rest in eternal peace.
