John Popernik, 97, an Army Veteran, died September 8, 2014. John was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine; loving father of Diane (Dan) Hupert, Donald (Nonny), and the late John (Linda); proud grandfather of Cara, Rachel (Brian), Kelly (Mark), and Mallory (Justin); cherished great grandfather of Grey.
Visitation for John Friday September 12, 9:30a.m. until the time of Mass 10:30a.m. at Clare Oaks Sacred Heart Chapel 801 Carillon Drive, Bartlett. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to Save-A-Pet Adoption Center P.O. Box 266 Grayslake, IL 60030 would be appreciated.
