John W. Paxson of Streamwood; beloved husband of Lillie (nee Sallaz); loving father of Kayla and the late Johnny; dear brother of Donna (Ted) Lewand, Julia (Mark) Moore, Joan (Jeff) Franke, Mark (Sandy) and Dan (Brenee); proud uncle of Michelle (Scott) Hagley, Sheena (Ryan) Mikula, Alex, Gigi, Charlie, Eric, Kellie, Nicole, Brittany, Kenna and Bryce; son of the late Alan and Dolores.
John retired from the US Postal Service in 2011 after 30+ years. he enjoyed golfing was a Chiefs fan and liked to fly.
Visitation Friday, October 10th 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Huntingtons Disease Society, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018 would be appreciated.
