John A. Odrlin, 85, of Schaumburg died Saturday, August 8, 2009. Born September 14, 1923 in Chicago. He was the son of John and Elizabeth (nee Schneider). John was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy. He also worked for Monogram Models for 34 years.
Survivors include children Janice (Bobby) Gunter of Virginia Beach, John T. Odrlin and Rosemarie (George) Schnupp both of Schaumburg; grandchildren Jedediah, Jacob, Jennifer, Brandon and Derek and special pet Patches.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie(nee Dukich) and his parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Prayers Wednesday 9:15 a.m. going to Church of the Holy Spirit, Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to the American Cancer Society,
