John Nicioli

November 23, 1933 — November 24, 2018

John Nicioli was born in Riolunato, Italy. He was a resident of Chicago, Harwood Heights and Schaumburg. When arriving from Italy, he met his only love, Josie Fini and married her in 1955. Father of Dan, Larry (Ginny) and Steven; grandfather of Justin and Kristin. Brother of Edguardo (late Alda) , Nick (Carole) , Cory (Carol), and his late sister Almarina. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. John was quite the athlete in his day. He competed and won many foot races vs athletes from other towns. He also enjoyed other types of competition such as soccer, bicycling, bocce ball and bowling. He worked as a line foreman at Hammond Organ in Chicago for 22 years. In addition, he owned and operated our family business, known as Prima Deli for 11 years. John enjoyed various hobbies such as gardening, cooking, dancing and being out in nature. John will be remembered by many for his kind and gentle soul.

Visitation Friday, November 30, 3:00pm - 8:00pm with a service at 7:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
