John Joseph Kingsmill, 61, of Bartlett, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Born August 10, 1955 in Chicago. John was a graduate of Illinois State University. John worked at Elmwood Park High School where he touched many lives as a Teacher, Track and Cross Country Coach. He was an active member at Immanuel UCC Church and enjoyed travel and camping. He will be missed by his family and friends. Beloved father of Cortney, Kennedy, Calie and Carson; loving son of Nancy (nee Fisher) and the late John; caring brother of Donald, Kelly, Ted, Tim, Dion, Ken, Ryan and the late Terri and Tony; close friend of Gloria, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and proud owner of his dog Chief. Visitation Friday, November 11 from 3:00pm until sharing of memories from 7:00 until 8:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral/Memorial Service Saturday 11:00 (doors open at 10:30) at Immanuel UCC, 415 W North Ave, Bartlett. Inurnment Bartlett Cemetery.
