John S. Kennedy, a lifelong artist, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on Tuesday, October 26th, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, John spent his years nurturing his passion for graphic arts, drawing, and painting, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and warmth.
John was the beloved son of the late Arthur J. and Mary P. Kennedy. He is survived by his loving sisters Mary (Timothy) Carew, Regina (David) Boe, Elizabeth Kennedy, and Patricia (John) O'Brien. John was a devoted uncle to his cherished niece, Meg Tiberlake, who brought joy and laughter into his life.
Throughout his career as a graphic artist, John captivated many with his stunning and evocative work, inspiring colleagues and art enthusiasts alike. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was passionate about his art, cars, and the simple act of drawing, through which he found immense joy and fulfillment.
John will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his keen sense of creativity, and his unyielding love for family and friends. His contributions to the artistic world and his community will be dearly missed.
