A memorial gathering for John A. Kay, of Hanover Park since 1971, will be held Saturday 10:00a.m. until the time of mass 11:00a.m. at St. Marcelline Church 820 S. Springinsguth Rd. Schaumburg, IL 60193. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born January 19, 1927 in Chicago, John died October 12, 2009.
A graphic arts salesman in the Chicago area for 50 years, he retired recently at the age of 80.
John is the beloved husband of 58 years Joanne nee Bochniak; loving father of Cindy (Harald) Berrey of Hoffman Estates, Debbie (the late Bud) Keller of Elgin, Linda (Joseph) Sanfillippo of Hanover Park, Laurie Kay of Lake in the Hills and John (Barb) Kay of Elgin; proud grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas and Stephanie Berrey, Joanna (Josh) Newby, Justin, Brandon, Alicia and Michael Sanfillippo and Emily and Jenna Kay; and 1 great grandchild on the way.
