Karels, Jr., a resident of Streamwood since 1990 will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 3:00p.m. until time of service 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
John is the beloved husband of 29 years of Sue nee DeClercq; loving father of Sheri (Mike Cielak) Tomasello, Mike (Erin) Karels and Heidi Steffen; cherished grandfather of Gianna Tomasello, Dominic Cielak, Cole Karels, Max Karels,Tristan Scruggs, Sara (Patrick) Conway and Jack Steffen; proud great grandfather of Lydia Conway; dear brother of Steve (Juanita) Karels; many loving nieces and nephews.
