Visitation for John Christian Jensen of Elgin for 16 years, formerly of Bartlett will be held Friday September 8, 2017 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday 10:00a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home in Bartlett. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
A 50 year member of Carpenter's Local Union 1693, he was also a die-hard Cubs Fan. John enjoyed sunny summer days on the golf course and wintering with his wife in Arizona.
He is the beloved husband of Diane nee Illg; loving father of Deborah (Scott) Frederickson, Donna Jensen, Susan (David) Harter, Richard Jensen and Karen (Jesse) Gonzalez; cherished grandfather of Michael, Robbie and Jonny Frederickson, Jake Harter and Steven Gonzalez; dear brother of Larry (Nadine) Jensen and the late David; many loving nieces and nephews.
