John Golding

John Frederick Golding, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2015 at age 73. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by His loving wife Ann, of 54 years. They were married in Geneva in 1964. She was his soul mate. He is lovingly remembered by his seven children, Terry (Denia), Steve, Kim (Rod) Goodlin, Pam,
Brian (Carol), Brad (Lilianna) and Mike (Shirley); and his five grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Joshua, Taylor and Valerie.
John was born in Geneva, IL on October 27, 1941 and graduated from Geneva High School and went on to work at the Elgin Post Office for 35 years. Which he loved. He enjoyed fishing, country music and bird watching, The Three Stooges and enjoyed fine chocolate. He had a great passion for animals and lovingly cared for many homeless and wayward cats.
