John E. “Glavan” Glavanovits, 78, of Bartlett, formerly of Addison and Chicago; beloved husband of Judith nee Jorgensen; loving father of John (Michele), Lorene (Steve) Sandelin and Andrew (Lynnette); kind grandfather of Taylor, Morgan and Matthew Sandelin, Kyle, Haley and Luke Glavanovits and Justin, Jeremy and Joshua Glavanovits; caring brother of Frank (Arlene) and fond brother-in-law and uncle to many. He was an avid Chicago Sports fan who loved the Cubs.

Visitation Wednesday, October 14, 2015 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory 950 S. Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Thursday 9:45am to Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
