John Ferris

John Alec Ferris, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family August 23, 2014. John was the beloved husband of Joy (nee Brani) for 63 years; loving father of Janice (Alex) Kiss, David (Christine) Ferris, the late Gail (Greg) Lenz, and the late Robert (Pam) Ferris; proud grandfather of John (Jillian Goodlove) Kiss, Emily Kiss, Katherine (Ryan) Beland, and Carolyn Ferris. John served in the army as an aerial photographer during the Korean war. He enjoyed fishing, boating, flying, and being outdoors. John was a family man, and dog's best friend.

Visitation for John Wednesday August 27, 4:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Thursday 10:30a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Queen of Heaven.
