John Joseph Errera, 81, of Schaumburg, passed away Friday, July 19. An Army veteran, John was an avid Cubs fan who enjoyed softball and gardening, and was a 25 year Chairman of the Schaumburg Board of Health. Beloved husband of Carol(nee Dumke); loving father of Christopher and Kimberley(Kevin) Gray; proud grandfather of Deanna and Kaitlyn. Visitation Monday, July 22 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle, and Tuesday from 10:00am until time of service 11:00am at St. Peter Lutheran Church 202 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg.
