John William Drummond, 76, of Streamwood formerly of Schaumburg, passed away Sunday, January 20. John was an avid Cubs fan and Chicago sports fan who also followed the University of Missouri Tigers. Beloved husband of Mary(nee McLaughlin); loving father of Sheila(the late James) Jatis, Laura(Kent) Flewellin, John W.(Susan) III, and Melissa Drummond; dear grandfather of Sean and Shana Jatis, Courtney Hayenga, and Owen, Spencer, and Kaelum Drummond; proud great grandfather of Kalleigh; fond brother of William and the late Maureen Drummond; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, January 24 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Friday 10:00am.
