John Dettmer

John W. Dettmer, 58, of Bartlett and formerly of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and the greater Chicagoland area. Cherished son of Lillian, nee Wanders and the late John F. Dettmer; dear brother of Donna Rennhack and the late Dawn and Debbie. John was a gun enthusiast and an avid Lord of the Rings fan. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, November 2nd, at 230 N. Elroy Avenue in Bartlett from 10:00 am until noon. Burial of his cremated remains will be held at Wayne Township Cemetery immediately following his memorial. There will be a gathering back at the house following the graveside services.
