John Cocat, 69, of Roselle passed away on: Sunday, October 9th, 2022.
John was the Beloved Husband of: Barbara (nee: Bundy). Loving Father of: Sean (Kelly) and Michael (Laura). Proud Grandfather of: Nolan, Lilah, Emma and Daniel. Cherished Son of the late: John and Frances.
John enjoyed spending time with family and especially his grandchildren, from teaching them to fish or sharing one of his famous and original “dad” jokes. He never failed to bring out a smile on those around him. John’s love of fishing knew no bounds, from bluegill fishing at his local Turner Pond, to mastering salmon fishing on Lake Michigan. John was also an avid fan of both the Chicago Cubs and the Northwestern Wildcats, and was fortunate enough to see his Cubbies bring home the world series title within his lifetime.
The Family would like to extend a "Special Thank You" to: The ICU/Palliative Care Staff at Alexian Brothers Hospital, Elk Grove Village for the Great Care and Compassion provided to John and his Family.
A Memorial for John will be private.
