John Brandstatter

John Joseph Brandstatter, 89, a devout Cub fan and avid golfer, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 26 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Mary Ellen; loving father of Joyce(Roger) Wiklund, Maryann(Rick) Pollacchi, Joan(John) D'Andrea, and the late Jack(Teri); devoted grandfather of Mike (Chrissie) Pollacchi, Ryan(Andrea), Eric(Nikki), and Kyle Wiklund, and Stacey(Kevin) and Kevin Brandstatter; proud great grandfather of Cameron, Kate, Samantha, Brynn, and Natalie; fond brother of the late Fred(Dorothy); dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, January 29 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett and on Monday from 9:30am until time of Mass 10:30am at Church of the Holy Spirit, Schaumburg.
