John A. Bovio, 71, of Bartlett, passed away Monday, January 28. An avid gardener who enjoyed model railroading and Cola Cola history, John was a Vietnam veteran who was a member of Bartlett VFW 11018 and American Legion Post 1212. Beloved husband of Maryann for 44 years; loving son of the late Anthony and the late Dorothy(nee Ehmke) Bovio; dear brother in law of Tom(Karen) Kuzniar; fond uncle of Thomas M. and Matthew J. Kuzniar; proud Master of Codi and the late Clancie, the late Ada Ann, and the late Toby. Visitation Tuesday, February 26 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 10:15am to St. Peter Damian Church.
