Visitation for John B. Bolf of Elgin, formerly of Hanover Park will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 4:00 - 8:00p.m. and Saturday 9:00a.m. until time of prayers 9:45a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 9:45a.m. to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Interment Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born April 9, 1933 in Greenmwood, WI, John died Monday November 11, 2013.
He retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Atlanta Braves. He loved playing with his grandchildren and cherished their time together.
He is the beloved husband of 55 years of Rheta L. nee Hoffman; loving father of Marie (Steve) Konczyk, Diane (Pat) Ryon, Laura (Ralph) Beliveau, Steven (Kara) Bolf and the late Debbie (Larry) Duff; proud grandfather of Eric, Ashley Ryon, Kyle, Trevor Duff, Abby, Martha Beliveau, Mason, Elizabeth and William Bolf; dear brother of Delores (Bill) Benczchawel and the late Mike, Mary, Katherine, Anne, Frances, Matt and Tony; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
