John Genady Bagow

John Genady Bagow, 97, of Hanover Park, died November 14, 2025. John was the cherished husband of the late Bernadette Bagow; devoted father of Maria (the late Dan) Meschewski, Tania (Sean) Hays and the late Nadia Kocsis; proud grandfather of Todd (Tara) Kocsis, Scott (Ashlee) Kocsis, Eric (Brittany) Meschewski, Brian (Beth) Meschewski, Ashley (Travis) Taylor, Meredith Meschewski, Stephanie Hays, Megan Hays, and Rachel Hays; loving great-grandfather to Alexa, Genevieve, and Luke Meschewski, Hunter Kocsis, Grant and Dawson Taylor; and Kaitlyn, Ava, and Madelyn Kocsis.
He found joy in fishing, reading, and gardening. John was also deeply involved in his church community and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family.

Visitation Tuesday, November 18, 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 South Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood. Prayers Wednesday 9:45 am to St. Marcelline Church (St. Gregory of Nyssa Parish), 822 Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg, Mass 10:30 am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
