Johanna J. Comitz (nee Lenza) of Bloomingdale. Born in Chicago, Johanna just celebrated her 84 birthday yesterday with her family. The daughter of Charles and Anna (nee Fiarito) Lenza. Johanna two favorite things in life were cooking and her family.
Survivors include husband Frank; sons James (Elaine) and Ron (Donna) Markel; daughter Karen (Kevin) Rhea; grandchildren James, Kelly, Jay, Allison, Jason, Chris, Lindsey and Andy; great grandchildren Ashley, J.J., Gaige, Jack, Max, Samantha, Chase and great-great granddaughter Halie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Peter, and sisters Victoria and Virginia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 9:00a.m. until time of funeral 11:00a.m. at the Countryside funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, www.alzfdn.org, would be appreciated.
