Visitation for Joanne Erhard Beegan, 68, a forty-two year resident of Streamwood will be held Saturday 1:00p.m. until time of celebration of Joanne’s life at 3:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Joanne passed away at St. Alexius Hospital on Tuesday night, October 26, 2010 surrounded by those she loved. Born in Chicago on May 27, 1942 Joanne grew up on the north side and attended Mundelein University. She is survived by her children: Margaret (John) Roysten, Katie (Matt) Helt, Daniel and Therese, granddaughter, Ciara Roysten, her sister, Donna (Bob) Kapche and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joanne was predeceased by her husband John Thomas Beegan and her son John Joseph Beegan, her parents, Victor and Margaret Erhard, and sister, Mary Lu Fox.
A Trustee of Poplar Creek Library for many years, Joanne was an avid reader with a great love of Opera and classical music.
